Sometimes laminate flooring boards start to separate due to changes in humidity, or simply from being in high traffic areas, leaving gaps between them. You can close these gaps fairly easily using the steps outlined on the sketch. If the gaps have been there longer than you care to remember, make sure you vacuum them for any dust/particles before proceeding.
